Common Facility Centre & Production

Strengthening Craft Production

Kala Raksha Producer Company Limited has established a Common Facility Centre (CFC) to support efficient production, quality control, and product development.

While embroidery work continues to be done by artisans in their homes across different villages, the CFC provides shared infrastructure that enables coordination of production and finishing of products. The facility plays a key role in strengthening the collective enterprise and improving the overall quality of products.

Location:
The Common Facility Centre is located at Sumrasar Sheikh village in Kutch, where Kala Raksha has long been active in craft education and artisan support. The facility is accessible to artisans from surrounding villages and serves as the central production and coordination space for the producer company.

Facilities at the CFC

Cutting & Pattern Making

Fabric cutting and pattern preparation are carried out at the centre to ensure consistency in garment production and efficient use of materials.

Stitching & Finishing

Sewing machines and finishing equipment are available to assemble embroidered pieces into finished garments, home furnishings, and accessories.

Quality Control

Each product undergoes quality checking for durability of stitching, consistency of finishing, proper placement of embroidery, and overall product quality.
